Local GCE A/L applicants need a minimum of three "S" passes in the Physical Sciences or Engineering Technology streams in one sitting, or three "S" passes in any other stream plus a C pass in O/L Mathematics and completion of the SLIIT IT Bridging Programme. A/L applicants who studied Information & Communication Technology and have O/L Mathematics at C are exempt from the bridging programme. Cambridge/Edexcel A/L applicants require three D passes in mathematics-related subjects or three D passes in other subjects plus a C pass in O/L Mathematics and completion of the SLIIT IT Bridging Programme; those who studied Information Technology/Computer Science at A/L and have O/L Mathematics at C are exempt from the bridging requirement. To specialise in Creative Computing students must pass a selection interview at the end of Year 2 Semester 1 and applicants must also pass the SLIIT aptitude test.
