ACU’s online Bachelor of Science in Marketing trains students to observe consumer habits and build campaigns that keep brands relevant. The program ties marketing principles to accounting, economics, law, statistics and digital technologies so graduates can set goals, measure performance and work across organizational functions. Students study within a Christ-centered virtual community and may lock in their undergraduate tuition rate for the degree.
The program requires 120 total hours. University requirements account for 56 hours (including 9–15 hours of Bible). The major comprises 64 hours, with 16 hours reserved for electives. Study begins with a 27 credit-hour business core, continues through a 21 credit-hour concentration, and includes 16 credit hours of electives. Example courses named in the curriculum include Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Innovation and Digital Marketing. The business core covers accounting and financial analysis, legal and economic contexts, statistics, management information systems, organizational behavior, strategy and general marketing topics such as research, ethics, targeting, promotions, regulation and pricing. Applicants must submit an official high school transcript with at least a 2.5 GPA and/or college transcripts with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Apply via the online program application and pay a non-refundable processing fee. ACT or SAT scores are not required. To graduate, students must maintain a 2.5 GPA across ACU coursework and earn at least a C in each business course.
Graduates can pursue roles in brand management, advertising, communications, copywriting, social media, market research, data analysis, public relations and sales. ACU’s online offering features a Locked-In Tuition program that guarantees the same undergraduate tuition rate for the length of the degree. The published per-credit cost on the program page is $395 per hour, and students pay a $310 resource fee per term.
