A two-year SLQF Level 10 postgraduate programme delivered by SLIIT for computing professionals who want advanced skills in IT strategy, governance, security, project management and emerging technologies. What you'll study

The programme spans four semesters over two years. First-year study builds foundations in IT services, database modelling, security risk management and research methodology; second-year work extends into consultancy, data analytics and IoT plus electives. Entry requirements

Applicants must hold one of the following as acceptable to the Institute: a 4-year BSc (Hons) in Information Systems or relevant computing degree; a 3-year BSc in Information Systems or relevant computing degree plus at least one year of relevant post-qualification professional experience; a 4-year honours degree with sufficient computing modules plus at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience; or an equivalent recognised 4-year honours qualification and/or professional-body academic-route membership with a minimum of two years’ relevant professional experience.

Career prospects

The programme prepares graduates for a range of senior and specialist IT roles. Typical positions noted by the department include management consultant, systems analyst/designer, IT infrastructure manager, business analyst, data architect, IS lead auditor, chief information officer, chief knowledge officer, chief privacy officer and project manager across industry sectors.
