Admission to the DeVoe Division of Business is required before taking 300–400 level division courses. To apply for division admission students must have completed 40 credit hours and the following courses: BUS-100, ACC-201, ACC-202, ECO-212, ECO-213, MNG-210 and MKG-210. Applicants must hold a 2.5 overall GPA and a 2.5 GPA within the division, earn at least a grade of C in all courses required for a major or minor, satisfy general education requirements for writing, mathematics and communication, submit a portfolio (including a résumé and at least one showcase piece), provide an individual admission essay, and complete a division interview. Transfer students may petition for admission if they satisfy substantially all criteria. Students must maintain the 2.5 overall and division GPAs and minimum C grades to continue in the division.
